i have a 1998 range rover 4.0 v8 se with 13000 on the clock
when cold she starts an runs perfectly
but when she comes to her opperating temp she wants to idle at 1500-2000 rpm, if i switch her off and start her again she idles normaly for a few seconds the increases again,
anybody got a clue please.

 

Sounds like a vacuum leak.
