Hmmm looks like Im out of luck viewing the Rave pdf. I have a "on disk" copy that I purchased via ebay afew months ago and that one does not open the files. I just downloaded the Rave from this forum and still same problem. Im using a work desktop computer when attempting to view the pdf so perhaps there is a block on it. Any ideas anyone? Im not going to update any drivers or download any updates as I do not have the authorization to do so. Is there any other way I can view the files?

 

I had the same problem the first time I tried to open it. You have to find the .EXE to make it open and I recall there are several to choose from. Once the PDF opens with a picture of a Land Rover in the middle of the screen, you have to click on the picture to get to the menu.

 

ALright thanks. I also just tried extracting the folder and that seemed to work. However I tried printing off 1 section and it ended up priniting the entire 800+ page document for Disco 1 workshop manual!!! If my boss finds out Im dead!

 

I have the D2 printed version, yes it is huge and worth every penny.

 

Oops! I've made that mistake with the printer before. I have been printing as I go, everytime I need to look something up I print it.

 

Haha, I know how you feel! I'm trying to formulate some method in order to print that bad boy off. Is there a legitimate book?
