Exclamation LR 3 Water in passenger floor board

For the second time in a year I have water in my passenger floor board! The cabin air filter is wet. When I pull the filter out, and reach into the space that was housing it, there is a secondary filter that is wet as well. Both times this happened in a light, steady rain. It doesn't seem to happen when it rains very heavy or for a short period of time. The first time this happened I thought it was the plastic piece (the cowl) that covers the fresh air intake on the hood. I had a new piece (cowl) put on. Everything has been fine until now! Please help, lots of wiring and fuses are in this area!

Sun roof drain tubes down the A-piller could be the culprit. Do a search in the LR3 sub forum.

Be sure to dry out the carpet and floor boards thoroughly; there are lots of wires and connections that can corrode and fail.
