Default LR Mechanics in NYC area

Hey Guys!

I am wondering if anyone knows a good Land rover mechanic in the NYC area? I have a D1 with a 300 tdi swap.
I used to live in Utah and recently brought the car to New York. I have been to three mechanics that specialize in Land Rover but looking for other options.
If anyone has any rec's I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks!

I do all of my own work, but I would avoid any places in the city itself for cost reasons. I believe there's a place out on Long Island that people recommend, and some in northern New Jersey. Don't know any of their names though, sorry.

When I need something done I take it to British Auto Works in the Bronx. https://britishautoworks.org/ They are generally disorganized, but the work they have done on my truck has lasted. Pricing is average for NYC.

If you are willing to take it to Long Island, check out Automotive Technology of Huntington. https://goo.gl/maps/c6VLshLyxVC7cs57A

Also on LI you will find Outback Garage. I have no experience with them. https://www.outback-garage.com/

You should AVOID "rover specialist" in Clifton, NJ. That guy is a rip off and better suited to changing the oil on new rovers at a discount to the dealerships for suburban housewives. He caught me over a barrel once and I'll NEVER go back and warn all those who ask as well.
