Hi all. Hopefully there is a tech type person out there who's brain I can pick. I have a glass roof / sunroof assembly out of a 2008 LR2 and am going to install it in my 1970 Dodge Coronet Wagon (its amazing how well the contours of the LR2 roof and the Coronet roof match up) The metal fabrication and installation end I have covered, what I need help with is making it function as it should in a car that was built before every accessory ran through some kind of computer. Unfortunately I don't have the donor vehicle for reference or for the rest of the parts needed.
I went down to my local dealer and talked to the parts guy and from looking at the parts schematic its hard to tell what is needed. From what I can gather there is no separate control module (it's part of the motor assembly itself?), so all that is needed is the wire harness (there seems to be multiple harnesses to choose from) and a switch. This seems too easy, what am I missing? Can anyone help me with a wiring diagram for this system? What problems may I encounter?
