Hi guys

I was doing reset for the suspension by disconnecting the battery.. then realized it was a hight sensor issue.

However after reconnecting the battery i discovered that instrument lights are dark while the lights switch on auto.. i had to trun it back to on in order to get the instrument lights working again.

I'm not sure what could happen during this disconnect/reconnect of the battery

Anyone has experienced this before?

So when auto and the lights come on (because in auto and its dark out) your cluster does not illuminate? Try another reset maybe?

 

Exactly... in auto mode front lights come on but nothing in the cluster .. I've tried another battery reset but no help

 

Do all the other dash lights come on (radio/HVAC controls, etc.)?

 

Yes .. all working normal when the light switch is on the manual on mode

 

No, I mean when on auto and when the lights come on at night and there is no dash lights, do the other lights come on?

 

No .. nothing while on auto mode .. only front lights

 

So no tail lights either? Does your vehicle have DTRLs?

 

Tail lights working also.. sorry i didn't get the meaning of DTRL ?

 

Daytime Running Lights.

So the light sensor is working, auto lights are working fine. If in manual, the dash lights up fine. In auto the dash lights up fine, just not the cluster. Odd, no clue on this one. Sorry I can not help.
