Doing head gasket job on my D2 this weekend. Also water pump and timing chain. Since I have only owned this for a few months I am looking for recommendations from experienced owners for oil/filter, ATF, tranny fluid and antifreeze. Thanks for your input.

 

Shell Rotella for engine oil, 15w-40 for warm temps, 5w-40 for cold temps.
NAPA, Purolator or WIX oil filters.
Any paper air filter you want.
Standard power steering fluid of your brand choice.
Valvoline MaxLife Dexron III for the transmission.
85w-140 gear lube of your brand choice for the diffs and t-case.
I use Wal-Mart 50/50 pre-mixed coolant, it is actually Peak brand.
Magnecor or Kingsbourne plug wires, any cheap copper spark plug you want, I prefer NGK as they are a well known trusted brand.
Also clean your PVC on the passenger valve cover and replace your throttle body heater gasket as long as the trucks apart.
