Default M1-301 on a RRC 4.2l?

Hi All,

Can anyone confirm that a Mobil M1-301 engine oil filter will or will not work on a 4.2L engine? I know it fits, but will it allow proper oil flow/pressure? I'm wanting to install it on my Defender with a 1994 RRC 4.2L.

Thanks!

Yes it will work fine, a M1301 is a direct cross to a K&N HP3001 or a WIX 51515 with the same pressure relief valve specs 8 -11 psi.
