Hello forum,

I am new to this forum and not sure if i am posting in the correct area but I am looking for help in regards to my 1970 Series iia RHD. I recently received this series truck from my father for my college graduation but it has been sitting for a couple years. I grew up in this truck, for years my father drove it as his daily when he originally imported it but due to his commute it became impractical hence why it went into storage. I am asking the forum if anyone knows of a mechanic or shop that specializes in older series trucks that could help me get this truck back on the road. I have read up on East coast Rover in Maine but that is a over a 5 hour drive for me. Thank you in advance.

I do all my own work but I know there's a great shop in Plymouth, MA called Reimels Automotive. They specialize in Land Rovers, and always have a bunch of Series trucks in the lot. There is also a shop in Jamestown RI called Rover Special Vehicles. I've read some mixed reviews but haven't been there myself so I don't know for sure but it looks like they know Rovers pretty well.

There is a shop right down near Newport, don't remember the name but he had 4-5 old or's sitting in the yard.
