Need help with choosing best option for 2018 Discovery Sport navigation. After entering destination, I wish to pick the option that is most likely to take highways. It seems to always take us on the scenic route. There are no descriptions in the owners manual that give a description of the options.

Go into your nav options and you may have deselected Highways. Beside the scenic route is always better.
