Need help identifying axle
I have a frankenrover. The shell is a '73, but it has a 300 TDI, a 5-speed, and coil sprung axles. I asked the guy who did the work what axles he used and he couldn't remember. This work was done in '97. They could be from a defender, but he thought maybe a Range Rover.
I looked on the axle for numbers but couldn't find any. Do I need to look harder?

Talking about both axles I guess.

Thanks guys. I do believe it is from a Range Rover Classic. I'm about to get new springs and shocks so I wanted to make sure I was getting the right ones. Right now I'm looking at Terrafirma. Seems like you can't go wrong with OME, Terrafirma, or Bilstein. Anyone got strong opinions on this?
