Default OBDII

Not sure if im in the right place for this but... Here goes. Can anyone give me suggestions on which OBDII scanner i should get there is so many out there i can figure out with ones good or not. I would like to have a live daignostic scanner but i dont know if it will work on a discoII. Any suggestions and pricing.. Thanks...

What Rover and yeardo you have?

There are C.A.N. OBDII for newer and then there
are first gen OBDII.

Any thing from WalMarts $49 scanner on up works well for most stuff, no real need to buy a real expensive one unless you are a mechanic with needs.
