I would suggest you stay with the Dino juice, keep the changes frequent, like every 3,000 miles and use a great oil filter like a K&N 3001.
At your mileage, although I use synthetic, I wouldn't suggest using it cause it can make small oil leaks turn into large ones and even using synthetic oil, you still need to change it frequently cause our Rover engines run really rich and trash the oil quickly. To test this theory, sniff your dip stick at 3000 miles, smell the gas, need I say more. By the way, what weight oil do you use?
I would also suggest you buy a bottle of engine flush and use it before your next oil change. Easy to do, poor it in and let the engine idle for 20 minutes before changing it. Do this on your next 2 changes and you will have a much better running engine.

Default RE: Oil?

Mike, When you say engine flush are there any brands to look for? I am not familiar with flushing the engine. I have 20,000 on my rebuilt engine so I am wondering if this needs to be done yet?
