Unhappy Overheating!!!!!

Hey, i have a 2000 disco 2 and about a month ago i noticed the temp gage rising so i pulled over a minute later the overflow tank was boiling over.i added about a gallon of coolant and the temp stayed fine for about three weeks.then it happened again,so i had added cooolant again, this time it only lasted a day before it overheated again.i didnt see any leaky hoses no weird discoloration from my exhaust so i figured it was the thermostat, changed that didnt flush the system though just topped off and it overheated that day.now i cant even drive it 5miles without it boiling also ive been reading this message board about leaky orings and puddles on the passenger side so i lifted up the floormat and it was slightly damp but nothing like ive been reading also my heat hasnt worked since i bought the truck 6 months ago!anybody got any suggestions iv e been on this site for days reading peoples questions and none exactly match mine.......please help!!!!!!
