Same w/ any car...what are exact overheating symptons? Does radiator have coolant? If so it is usually thermostat or electric fan. Does the fan come on when car is hot? If so, probably just the thermostat. What has been done on the car so far?

Well I don't really know because it happened when we were driving home all of a sudden the air got hot and my mom realized that it had overheated. It is at the mechanic right now. How much does the thermostat cost? It is a 2000 Disco 2
