I’m in an 06 LR3 and am about to join the 300k club. I like this old clunker to much to stop, and the mechanic I use has a client who is trying to get to 500k on his (currently 460, engine rebuilt at about 300k)

My engine was rebuilt at 180, and I had my trans semi rebuilt (clutch pads and the most important stuff only, not a full rebuild) at 240.

I’m looking for any and all advice to keep going. Like should I be using only premium gas, is the recommended oil change schedule the way or should I do it more frequent, etc.

Basically any and all advice to keep this beast going, I am all about it.
