Default Powersterring rattling

I recently had a powersterring hose go out, so I replaced it. A couple of days after I replaced the hose my powersterring pump started to rattle. Almost like an internal noise. It stops whenever you make a turn or turn the sterring wheel. What should I do? Do I have air in the hose or pump or what? Please help I am a broke college student trying to get by.
Oh yeah I have a 96 Discovery, V8

Default RE: Powersterring rattling

If you are thinking it is an internal steering noise, i would suggest a bottle of Lucas power steering additive. If it is an external nose, I would check the position of the hose, make sure they are not rubbing up against something.
