proper octane
hey guys i just joined the land rover world by buyin a 2001 range rover and i was talking to a mechanic i meet at the dealership and he was tellin me that he uses 87 octane in his RR is that a good idea or is it askin for trouble?
91 plus octane is all that Rover recommends, look on your gas door, there should be a sticker there also.
Low octane will cost you about 2 MPG as well as carbon up your engine and then the big $$$$$ repairs start showing up.
