Rain Leak around driver side sun visor

Default Rain Leak around driver side sun visor

Hello Forum
I am having a perculiar problem with my disco 99 td5.when it rains the area around the sun visor on the driver side gets wet.I have sealed the front sun roof because i thought that was where the problem was from.it was still happening next thing i did was use sealant to reseal the top of the windshield it is still happening.Any tips on where else i should be looking well be very very apreciated

Well the headliner is a big board....and so any water that leaks anywhere in the roof has the possiblity to race to front while braking and such...so you could have a leak anywhere along to rack line...You might want to just drop the head board down and take a look see..

3 things to check, or just seal up for the hell of it... most times this is caused by the roof gutters, theres a body seam right past the top of the a-pillar that you can see if you remove the front coner gutter piece, clean and seal this. also might want to check to see if your roof rails are sealed well, no cracks in the rubber, if so, get it fixed, and the last is to drop the front of the headliner and remove your foam insulation and seal up the body seam up with some clear rtv... if you do any of these, do them on both sides, not just the one thats leaking.
