Well the Houston summer heat has taken another part out on my Discovery! I flipped down my sunshade this morning as I drove out of my driveway and the plastic cover that flips up to reveal the small mirror fell off. Looks like the small hinge pin on one side is gone.

I don't see any way to replace the mirror assembly, I guess I would need a new visor if I want to. Kind of annoying as now with the visor down I get a great view of my leg.

 

Sounds like a trip to the boneyard or a PM to Paul Grant (dismantler) might be in your future. Don't need anything to cause distracted driving in Houston traffic, which can confound even Boston drivers.
