Default Recovery gear

I have been thinking about recovery gear needed while offroading.
I normally have the following:

Warn winch 15k,Cable Capacity:17,600 lbs. 100ft wire rope
air compressor/air hose
pressure gauge
tools (when i bring them)
jumper cables
gloves
roof rack lights
shovel
pick axe
two bottle jacks
two jerry cans

With that in mind, it has been enough to get me out of trouble, but when you are needing to help someone else out i know i am missing:

rear d rings
straps /kinetic
hitch receiver (still have it, just removed it for wheeling purposes)
****** block
tree saver

What would you add or remove/substitute from the list?

You should add Mud Ladders , drinking water , dried foods , flash light , matches , spare cell phone( switched off until use ), tyre plug kit , first aid kit ..

hey these are just the things we go with... depends on how extreme you want to go , but its never a bad thing to have extra...

flashlight/matches/spare cellphone/first aid are part of my camping equipment that is in the rover along with a
torch
two different size tents
sleeping cot/ military sleep system sleeping bag
power inverter
propane grill/stove and cooking needs
cleaning materials
120qt cooler
dry food/snacks and instant coffee

I also have spare parts:
water pump until i gave it away at scarr
ss brake lines
new hub with abs sensor
stock front drive shaft thats good
rear AB driveshaft that removes rotoflex
laptop with cdp+

Mud ladders would be a great addition but since i have a winch a winch anchor might be a better option.

Great you have it covered then . The mud ladders come in handy when you meet a short deep crossing , where the bumper will get stuck .

Here is some good info on some different traction aids. There is also another recent post (April I think) on the same subject.

Object lesson in what not to do.
Buy a winch but spend money on a lot of other stuff before buying the rigging to properly (and safely) use the winch.

I see a lot of non-recovery items in this thread. While not bad ideas, dried fruit and toilet paper are hardly recovery items.

Recovery in certain countries when you drink the water?

I personally have not had to do anything but a single line pull, i have a "tree saver" and a line blanket and that has been enough for me personally.

The rover is getting rear d rings welded on to recover it along with shackles and the winch line is now being swapped for synthetic after recovering another f250.

wheel chuck and a pick axe for anchoring the truck down as well.

In your opinion what rigging is needed?
