Default Retorqing cylinder head?

Have replaced the cylinder head gasket in my 2000 TD5 Disco, Did the 30Nm; 65Nm; 90 deg; 180 deg; 45 deg process. Can anyone tell me if there is any benefit/need to retorque the head after a 1000km? and if so, how far do you go?

Nope. Never any need to re-torque head bolts.

Think about it, how would the factory beable to re-torque head bolts after the truck left the factory?

You are good to go man!
