Rumbling and RPM hunting under light throttle
2011 Disco 4, 2.7L with 125K, no towing.
Last few weeks my Discovery has developed what I would call a rumbling under light throttle. It is accompanied by vibration and disappears when more throttle is applied. The RPM is fluctuating ever so slightly with constant light throttle.
I had my transmission oil changed earlier this year. New pan went on so it is probably the first service.
Thoughts? My reading points to Torque Converter.
I rung the mech back and they said I was supposed to cone back and get the second part of the transmission oil service. Apparently you are unable to change all the oil in one go?
