Default rust removal and repaint for brush guard

I'm getting a used front brush guard for my 01 Disco 2 that has some rust on the corner bend. It looks like the paint was scraped off from rubbing against a wall (the frame itself is not bent) and now has a top layer of rust. After I remove the rust, what type of paint should I look for to seal the metal again. I'm not sure if these are actually powder coated of if it's another type of paint.

thanks

They are usually powder coated when built.
Might just go buy some Rustoleum in a color that matches, sand down the area to be painted a give it a couple coats of paint.

You can get powder coating touch up paint in a spray can, problem is if it is black there are a number of 'Blacks' on the market, also the original will have some sun damage so what ever you use will probably show up.
