I own a Discovery SE II 2004.

When I m driving the green lights S and M modes turn on unexpectely at the same time blinking. When I turn off and on the car, the light are off for awhile; but the lights are on again after driving.

I mostly use my car for urban driving. This happens to me twice in the highway (speed 65-70).

Any idea/suggestion?

make sure battery/charging system is working properly

 

Sounds like your alternator is going south.

 

The sensor that switches the modes seems faulty , check transmission , and speed sensors first .
