Exclamation Scan Tool Advice

So,

I have a 2001 D2 40 SD and I am looking to trace down my three amigos issue. I think it might be the ABS block and pump as I swear I have heard is making a sad noise.

I will need a scan tool to make a complete diagnosis and I am wondering what folks own, I don't have lots of money to burn so I am looking for affordable options.

I know that the autel a619 will read and clear abs codes for about 100 bucks, but it wont run the abs brake bleed program. Does anyone know of an affordable tool that will read codes and bleed brakes?

Thanks in advance

Brakes can usually be bled about 75% without doing anything with the ABS. To bleed the ABS, all you need is the pump to run and the valves to cycle, which if you do a panic stop on wet pavement, gravel or grass, you will achieve the same results. (assuming there are no faults with the ABS system)

Thanks man! That's awesome. It rains constantly here so I will have no problem finding a wet day to panic stop around the hood.
