Seriously?
Put the key in the ignition.
That is position "0"
Turn the key forward one click, that is position "1"
Turn the key one more click, that is position "2", also known as the "run" position, that is the position the key is in after you start the engine and let go of the key.
The next position is the "start" position.

turn on the key means press the start button without pressing the clutch/brake so all the lights will be on and engine will not start turn off the key pres the start button again so lights will be off

hope that helps

you have to understand that a LR2 has the push button start.

Cool Finally

Yes that helped, thanks to everyone for the advice. I ended up taking it to a oil change place because i dont have the filter wrench. But I will order one soon. They could not reset the service indicator but with all your help I did it at home.

On 2011 models you can not reset the service warning light/message, you are forced to take it to a main dealer, this is a disgrace on the part of Landrover and I think is illegal trading. After owning three Landrovers from new this is my last one after this behaviour.
