Hi All

First post here - so hello to everyone.

Been a Freelander 1998, 2ltr Diesel owner approx 8 months now ... well pleased so far, a nice solid car.

However today I epxerienced a real high pitched squeal coming from the front somewhere ... sounds too high for the pads to worn & rubbing against the disc, so maybe wheel bearing perhaps ? Had a very similar problem years ago on an old Nissan - much the same symptoms.

No other info that I can give, brakes are fine, no warning lights illuminated, no clunks etc ... just an intermittent (at this time anyway) high pitched squeal - definately sounds like metal against metal

Any suggestions ?
