OK - So the sunroof on 1999 rover has not worked for a year. I had ordered the right side rail at the time but had not worked up the nerve to tackle. Now the headliner has fallen and it seemed like a good idea to solve this before winter. All is going well. Had to remove the entire right side cargo trim to anglethe linerout. No one had mentioned that part! The sunroof shade is redone. The sunroof assembly is in place loose. Problem the left and right side slides are not in the same location. Off by 1/2". Does anyone know if the cables can can be realigned? There is, what appears to be a white plastic hub in the center of the gearbox for the cable. Does turning this allow the cables to be adjusted or does it just manually open the roof? The motor is working and pulls and pushs both sides.
