Default Tire balancing after TPMS replacement, anyone with TOPIX access?

Hi everyone,

I have just had TPMS transmiters replaced under LTB00376 on '10 LR4 to remedie a Systems fault problem. The dealer has not re-balaced the wheels post repair which are at about 60% wear level. The dealer stated that the bead has not been rotated, thus no rebalace necessary. The dealer stated that LR does not require rebalance for this under GTR 204-04.

Can any one confirm if GTR 204-04 explicitely does not ask for a re-balance?

Thank You!

yes, its not necessary. you drop the top bead and change the sensor. then reseal. simple. no problems.
