Default Towing with a 01 Disco

Hello,
recently purchased an 01 Disco with the intention of moving my 31ft airsteam. The towing capacity looks adequate but I'm unsure how to engage the brakes?
any help would be much appreciated.

I don't have any insight on brakes for the disco. Probably need a trailer brake controller for that.

However, I would be wary of towing something that long with a disco. It has a 100" wheelbase, which is quite short. For something like that, I would recommend using a vehicle with at least a 125" wheelbase just so the trailer doesn't push you around so much.

I'm assuming you mean the trailer brakes. If it has surge brakes they will engage on their own. Most likely that has electric brakes and you will need to install a brake controller.

However I would get something else to pull it with. Towing that with a Disco has to much Mr Toads wild ride potential
