Default Trunk window won't go up (02 Freelander)

Hi everyone, I'm new here. My sister has an 02 Freelander and the rear (trunk) window will roll down but not up. Has anyone had a problem with this? When the window is all the way down, and I push the "down button" in console, I can hear it getting power in the rear. There is no sound of the motor trying to engage when attempting to raise the window with the button. Maybe the switch in the console? Or something in the rear? Any suggestions much appreciated. Thanks!

There are relays for the taildoor window in the rear cargo area that you might be hearing when you hit the switch. I would say your best bet is to remove the taildoor inner trim panel and test for power at the motor. The relays sit above the right rear strut tower behind the cargo trim panel just in case you want ti investigate there.
Good luck!
