Default Try this one out for size

When I really pound on my 97 disco, off road, very fast dirt road airborn stuff. After a hard landing, my 4 ways come on (hazard lights) The switch is ineffective. If I turn off the ignition and restart, the problem disappears. Is it The offroad GOD telling me to slow down? Is it the off road GOD warning people in the vicinity that I'm an idiot? Anyway it almost made my brother, in his Bronco, pee his pants! Any ideas?

Brittish wiring eh? I've heard some pretty exciting stories about Lucas Skywalker, how come you never any good ones, like your odometer going backwards or 150 MPG.

Thats a intera saftey switch, when you have a hard hit it is made so you pull over and check out the damage. If it was a harder hit it will kick the fuel pump off as well, like in an accident. There is a reset button under the hood on the fire wall on pass. side in case the fuel pump is kicked off.
