You are right about selling the RIMs, though I might have to put these tires on my original rims... because I like the ones I have now a little more... but its all the same at the end of the day.

They might wear fast but its a lot better then what I have on there now. I was looking at my front wheels and they are pretty low on tread not to mention they are starting to crack.

As far as 18" vs 16"... I know for the real off roader 16" is the way to go... but here is the deal... my second car is VW GTI hatchback... with 17inch rims and maybe 3 inches of tire on it.

I have been able to follow my buddy that has a CJ7 Jeep with 35" tires to pretty much 80% of all the spots we go to... Sure once we start climbing off road thats a different story...

But The point I'm making is with the right skill and time I think these 18inch wheels will get to where I need to go, with no problem at all.


ill update the post once the wheels are on and I will keep track of how much tread they are loosing.
