Default vibration on exceleration

I have bad vibration on exceleration. My 1st guess is that rubber joint on my rear driveline. Any other ideas?

I don't know that there is anything to look at. If it hasn't been rebuilt, it should be, even without signs of imminent failure. It may give without warning and cause you a world of problems.

Default Problem Fixed

Replaced front driveline with custom built one from Drive Line Services in Sparks Nevada. Works great for 375.00...

I agree with AAP replace your front u with a greasable one. From the horror stories on here and the web, you are overdue on a Disco 2. Check over all the U joints and couplers including the fasteners. Check powertrain mounts as well to eliminate other common causes.

Had the same vibration and had my FRONT drive shaft changed just in time. Mine was very bad and noticeable if you can get a look at it. If you have a place where you can get under and look at the joint it should be obvious. The joint on mine looked like it was about to fall apart.
Drive it slowly or not at all until you get a part if you find this is the issue.
I heard that if it lets go at any significant speed...possible good bye transmission!!! $$$$

I think I have the same problem as you. I haven't drivin my disco II since the problem accured, except for up and down my street, going 10 mph to guess what could be happening. When I did so it felt as if something was trying to lock up in my driveshaft. Where should I begin to fix my problem?
