Water Leak -- HELP!
Hello everyone,
I have a 2003 Discovery. My current issue is a water leak at the top of the passenger side "A" pillar. I have had it to the dealer 9 times for this exact same problem. I do not have sunroofs. They've replaced the windshield twice (heated type), the headliner once, the roof rail seals once, and it's been to the body shop 5 times to try and seal it up. I love my Discovery, but this leak is making me insane!! Luckily, the warranty is still covering the costs.
It starts small, right at the top centerof the A pillar, and then spreads from there. It is worse when there is snow on the roof that melts. I do have a Safety Devices Adventure rack, but that just clamps to the rain gutters, so I don't see how that could be a factor, but I thought I would mention it. Does anyone have any ideas?
It has 42000 miles on it and has been to the dealer 34 times for warranty work, not including scheduled maintenance. I have thought aboutmaking a claim on thelemon law, but I still like the truck, and don't know what I would replace it with. I do a lot of off roading, and I also like the personality it has. I've got a '68 Jag XKE, an MG Midget, and my wife drives an X-type,so I was expecting some problems, butthis is gettinga littleridiculous. I never get to drive it, as it's always in the shop.
Thanks for your help.

Please post or send this to me too! SBLenger@gmail.com
I have had the 2000 Disco II to the dealer at least 4 times for water leaks...they've replaced windshield seal, reset windshield, cleared drain holes for sunroof, etc.
In fact - it is at the dealer at this moment and they offered to charge me 3 hours tech time to try to diagnose it again.
