Default Weird Sun Roof 2002 Discovery 2

Everything I can find for leaking sunroofs say look for the drainage cups and tubes and then repair them.
I have my headliner out and there are no tubes or holes or clues that lead me to believe there were ever any such hardware.
Is a 2002 different for some reason?
Does anyone have the fix for this year?
Thanks!
Greg

Should be the same. I have seen them in an 03 and my 00.

I pulled these images off of Google but they match my recollection:

There should be a tube attached to that.

That looks different than mine but I am just going on recollection. I wish I had a photo of mine.

Are there no tubes at all anywhere?!

Look at this... See the drain tubes (14 and 15).

Looks like you purchased a D2 that has been hacked.

I was thinking the same. You can get a full replacement assembly off eBay -- you probably won't need the glass.

If its not leaking leave it alone IMO

That's an aftermarket install of aftermarket parts.

The tray is either on backwards or not a genuine Land Rover part. The sunroof motor is definitely not the one that came on these trucks. Someone hacked a hole in the roof of your truck. Before you go on eBay to look for a genuine replacement (I have dozens) you better make sure the hole they cut out is the same size as the one that would have been done at the factory.

Well that's definitive. Paul Grant would and does know what all Disco innards look like. so someone added the sunroof or replaced it with a non oem one.

I'd measure the opening and see if an oem one would fit, or just seal the whole thing with silicon.

Bummer.
