Default What is the top speed for a 2003 discovery 4.6 liter? Please help!

I ask is because I recently purchased a 2003 Land Rover Discovery and while driving down the highway it's top speed is between 75 and 85 miles per hour. This vehicle has plenty of power up through about 60 miles per hour however after 75 mph it has nothing. This vehicle also has plenty of power when towing a trailer. I guess as comparison my 2003 Dodge Durango with a 4.7 L engine can do 110 mph easy. I would like to be able to pass vehicles at highway speed in my Rover I mean it's a brick but I figured it can go faster than 80 miles an hour!
Fyi, stock size tires.
Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you for your time.

Google search reveals stated top speeds of 95-105mph. I think I've taken my 4.0 up to about 85 but that took a bit of effort.
I think you're not going to get much more out of the 4.6. Your mpg is really going to suffer if you start pushing it that hard too.

I appreciate your response it makes me feel a little better I was worried that I was having engine problems, I can live with not going fast because this vehicle does great off road.
