Hi,
My window regulator has died on me over the weekend. I can see the frayed steel cable. Its on a 2001 TD4 2Door freelander. Does anyone know of somewhere in Europe where I can buy one for a "reasonable fee?"

Also, how much of a big job is it to repair?

I have no idea about Europe but in Perth Western Australia I had one made for my old '80 2 door that had after market Smith instrument electric windows, I looked in the phone book, made a couple of calls, showed them the old cable and picked up the custom made one a couple of hours later, it wasn't a auto place but more a smallmanufacturer who made drive cables for general industrial purposes.

I'm sure they must have this sort of service in many parts of Europe.
