Default Window regulators

Can anyone tell me why I couldn't use the front window regulators from my parts truck in the rear of my truck so I can bring the window all the way down? Before I take the time to tear apart two doors I'd like to know if anyone has tried it.

The rear doors curve into the wheel well and that is why there is not enough cavity room for the window. Thats the issue on a disco. If you had a LWB, maybe it would work.

Obviously I have pondered that exact question before.

its individually different in 99.9% of vehicles across the world , bolting angle , length , travel , mounting , connection , curve , most of the carry the motor on them ,which usually is the problem , and can be replaced , as long as the cable is not busted that is ... have a look first .....
