Default Exhaust Systems

Thinking of upgrading my stock exhaust system. Any recommendations? Flowmaster? Borla? Magnaflow? Duel or single? Thanks.

I have the Borla. Highly recommend. It's a direct bolt on, single exhaust replacement.

Def Borla. The Magneflow quality isn't near what Borla is. Having had both I think the Borla sounded much better as well. With Borla I had to find the part number by searching for 99-02 if I remember correctly they didn't list anything for 03-04.

I've got a Dynomax Super Turbo. I've had it for 2 years and it sounds great. I bit deeper but not obnoxious.

Tomahack - I really like what you've done with your 2003 Disco HSE. Question: What wheels did you put on. I like the nitto tires but no mention of the wheels. Are they Rover wheels, XDs, ?

If you like flowmaster sound and are mechanicly inclined buy a thrush welded put in place of the stock muffler and delete the resonator make your own tail pipe cheap and easy sounds like Chevy v8 with flowmaster

im with tom r on this one. i pulled the cc and resinator and welded in straight pipes. also got a summit muffler for 19 bucks on sale. sounds like a big block chevy and its funny to see people look up thinking they are going to see some big *** truck and its a land rover sitting there rumbling.

you can build a good exhaust system for about 100 bucks. i think those cat back sytems are stupidly priced.

OK, this is what I like to hear, someone experimenting. Any feedback on how it went pulling the cats?
codes, HP, MPG?
