ok I got the range rover factory headers to use on my disco, do I need to use the head shields? I have a feeling they are just on there to keep you from touching the hot headers since it appears all the heat will still be trapped under the hood and it looks like the shields would actually concentrate the rising header heat on the plug wires and the valve cover gaskets

so do I need em?
