#&^$@# Chinese coolant overflow containers s*ck!
I have now changed a THIRD garbage
Chinese coolant overflow container because it too started leaking. If it weren't for the warranty from the auto parts store I'd strap it to a missile and send it back to PingPong's office in Beijing. Sick and tired of having to carry jugs of coolant in the cargo area...

Thanks, I found the hole on the side of the tank. Monday I am going to ream the mechanic a new one.
I will be replacing the coolant reservoir on my sister's car (not an LR2). After reading reviews, I'm braced for the possibility that it may develop a small crack and leak. I don't know why it's so difficult to make a non-leaking tank, but that appears to be the case for some of these aftermarket parts.
If that happens, I don't want the hassle of replacing the tank until I get lucky. So I was thinking of this repair solution as "Plan B". What do you think?

Hmm. Not sure about that with a pressurized tank.
Maybe wrap it in fiberglass, get a cheap kit from flaps?

It means reinforcing the container to prevent structural failures like cracks.

It also adds thickness, which may make it difficult to refit the part.
