'08 LR2 Misfire
My '08 LR2 seems to lose power on the highway. At a steady speed it jerks/pullsback...like something clogged the engine or gas line. I see posts about misfires...not sure who a misfire feels or what that means.
I took it to the dealership to get them to look at it and during the drive test they told me to change the sparkplugs first. I did that and the same thing happened. I bought genuine LandRover sparkplugs so did I need to gap them? I thought they would come gapped correctly. Anything else I need to try before taking it back to the maintenance.

PCV valve on this engine is built into the camshaft cover-cover, large black plastic housing on top of the engine, directly behind the coils.
Generally coils are the reason for misfires on this engine, but plugs are always a good maintenance repair if not recently changed. And no, never gap a modern(precious metal) plug, you can easily damage the plating and significantly reduce the lifespan and performance of it.
Is your check engine light on? - does it flash when the vehicle pulls power?
If no CEL, it's not a misfire, and I would be looking at fueling. These vehicles don't have common issues with fuel pressure being low(usually fine or nothing at all) but the MAFS is a very suspect component, and is the main input when it comes to fuel delivery.
Does it accelerate without issue, and only act up at steady speed? what speed?
