I am looking into purchasing a 2008 LR2 HSE with all the bells and whistles. In my research about the car I came across this forum and ya'll seem to be very knowledgeable! I was just curious if there are any key things I should be aware of as a future LR2 owner. I haven't really come across any major issues with the vehicle in question and it seems to fit all my criteria. Just curious if there are any "trade" secrets to be aware of as an owner!

Check of it had it's 10 year service done. Think it's the most expensive service. It includes changing fluids in transmission, transfer unit and differential.

 

I have a 2009 and have had just a few problems until now. The hood alarm switch went bad causing the alarm to randomly trip so I just bypassed it. But now my rear differential is bad (91k miles) which I’m reading is pretty common for the LR2. Common enough that they sell bearing kits for it on eBay lol. Otherwise I love the truck.
