Default 2008 LR2 HSE Coolant Leak Help!

I have a LR2 HSE with 148k on it. I got it recently and am now having a coolant leak. I am getting the Low Coolant Level message on the dash. We will refill and the next day it will come on again until the car warms up. On random cold starts the check engine light will flash, the car will idle a little rough for about a minute, then stops and runs fine. By day 2 it will need to be completely refilled again. I have only noticed a small amount of fluid pooled under it (not enough to indicate the amount of fluid that is "leaking"). This weekend it was parked on an incline (engjne slightly higher than boot) and when I started her up I got a good bit of white smoke from the tail pipe that smelled like burnt antifreeze. It leveled out and does not smoke while driving or idling. The car is not overheating or running poorly, other than random starts for about a minute. The Cooling fan was recently replaced, as were all spark plugs. Any ideas?
