2008 LR2 transmission reduce traction control notice
yes it is the correct tool
a few weeks ago I got a CK engine light which pointed to a possibility bad fuel pressure sensor . I installed a new one and cleared the faults and it’s been good since no CK engine light since then. This has nothing to do to do with the current issue with a notice of reduced traction that’s been going on for years. On and offI cleared the faults and I’m waiting for it to pop up again reduced traction bit of a mystery
On another note, doing a transmission drain and flush. I decided to do it once you understand will take out about 4 L. I’m hoping it’ll make a little difference and at that time I’ll check the fluid what it looks like old fluid that comes out at 91,000 miles on the car it’s my wife’s car. It’s been baby 2012 for the most part in shape. What are your thoughts on the transmission service? I’m a firm believer in servicing all fluids. There’s no such thing as a lifetime transmission sealed that’s a bunch of baloney.
Thank you fortaking a time to respond

I agree with you that there is no lifetime fluid anything on these or any other cars. They need to be serviced, including changing internal filters if possible. Make sure you follow the service manual instructions to the tee.
Which faults were you getting related to the reduced traction error?

That was a shutter in the engine and an immediate check engine light
That code I don’t remember it pointed to the fuel pressure sensor which so far is resolved.
The reduced traction error (notice) comes and goes.Honestly I don’t remember seeing a fault involving reduced traction
Im waiting for it to happen again Im sure it will and I’ll CK for faults and write down the codes.
its kinda like going to the doctor and the pain goes away in the office
