Intermittent misfire - car in 'reduced performance' mode. After discussion with Landy specialist mechanic, changed the coil on cylinder 3 (ref P0303) - $30

Simple enough job - you tube video for evoque (same engine) -
So far so good. Fingers crossed this is the issue. I'll update the thread if any further complications.

 

Lucky for you you got something other than a plain P0300. When I see the plain one I turn around and flee.

 

I had the same codes right after changing my spark plugs. Come to find out I had a bad ground wire that was coming from the fuel rail I presume? it caused mine to misfire then no start. I taped the exposed wire and adjusted the ground and everything went away.

 

Thx Jade - yep this was the kind of info I was seeking..... in the event the coil replacement does not do the trick......
