Default 2015 LR2 $35200, more room?

I have been looking for a new SUV for a long time. Test drove the 2015 LR2 AWD a month ago and felt the price is high. I received an email from local dealers yesterday and he told me that he could sold 2015 LR2 with invoice price $35100, MSRP is $37525.
I saw some shared prices by others in autopriceshare are lower than mine(around 1000 off). I know that the final price depends on many factors and it is hard to get the lowest price. Some people here are owners of LR2. In you opinion, is it a fair price? any suggestions will be helpful.

I purchased a '15 LR2 last month that was a demo with 5k miles (but untitled and sold as "new) and paid around a thousand less than $35,100. If this is new with low miles then yeah, that's a decent price.

And I love my purchase so far...

When I purchased my 2008 LR2, I paid $800 over invoice. ($300 of that $800 was for a regional advertising fee that I understand is not negotiable because it's a direct dealer cost.) I'm satisfied that a few hundred dollars over invoice is a fair price.

Certainly, paying invoice alone is more than fair, it's a very good deal. If you can negotiate below invoice using reference prices from the website you mentioned, that is a great deal. It might be possible to negotiate lower than invoice since this is the last production year for this model.

The LR2 is currently ranked #3 of the top 10 by Consumer Reports having the worst-resale value of any new vehicle, and they say NOT to buy as "new" as a one-time exception, because of its "aging, obsolete, and noncompetitive design" it printed.

So, to confirm their saying, I looked into cars.com, and in closed listings, at least 5 brand-new 2014 LR2 base sold for only $29,999, and pre-owned 5,000 miles 2015 LR2 used as loaner vehicles while owners waiting for repairs are around $29,999 as well. Used 2013 LR2s can easily push price down to $25,000 easily.

That's a much better, and fair price for a pre-owned instead. So, I'm definitely in a market for a pre-owned than brand-new exactly as Consumer Reports described.
