Default Battery Upgrade

For my next battery replacement, I was thinking about replacing my conventional lead-acid with an AGM. Has anyone done this for their LR2?

I have done this with the Energizer model from Costco. Technically you are supposed to use the software "new battery" reset function. I did it with JLR SDD; I also tried it with the Carsoft LR2 reader but it did not work. Without the reset, it should adjust to the new battery after a few days regardless. My experience with Costco Energizer AGM was very good, they shipped me one that was manufactured the very week I purchased it online. I believe it was the H7 model but I would have to look to confirm. It's a powerhouse.

When you mentioned the battery reset function, you got me wondering since I never performed a reset procedure when I replaced my battery. I checked the service manual and discovered that only certain vehicles with the Battery Monitoring System (BMS) have this reset function. The BMS module is integrated with the negative battery clamp where it attaches to the battery. Appears to be for vehicles with stop/start, not mine.
